Dip Powder Nails

« Back to Glossary Index

Dip powder nails, also known as acrylic powder nails or SNS nails (Signature Nail Systems), are a type of nail enhancement that involves applying a colored powder onto the nails.

The process starts with a base coat being applied to the nails, followed by dipping the nails into a container of finely milled colored powder. This is done multiple times to build up the desired thickness and color intensity. After each dip, an activator is applied to harden the powder and create a strong, durable finish.

Dip powder nails are known for their long-lasting and chip-resistant qualities, and they can be customized with various colors and designs. They are an alternative to traditional gel or acrylic nails and are popular in toe nail services as they provide a glossy and natural-looking finish.
