Nail fungus rash, also known as onychomycosis, is a common condition where a fungal infection affects the toenails. It occurs when fungi, such as dermatophytes, invade the nail bed, causing the nails to become discolored, thickened, brittle, and distorted. Nail fungus rash can lead to discomfort, pain, and difficulty in walking or wearing shoes. It is typically a chronic condition and may require medical treatment to effectively eliminate the infection and restore the appearance and health of the affected nails.
